Leah Perry received her Bachelor of Arts from Manhattanville College in 2000. She received her Master of Religion and the Arts from Yale Divinity School in 2002, her Master of Arts in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University in 2004, and her PhD in Cultural Studies from George Mason University in 2009. Her research focuses on race, gender, sexuality and mass culture in the United States. She teaches courses in Women and Gender Studies and American Studies.
