Inquiry into Action

This week in 203

March 20th, 2010 · No Comments · general information, RINGS, schedule

Hey Everyone,

Good work on Thursday in your RINGS and during the panel discussion.  I hope you were inspired by the various presenters and are beginning to see how community research can really deepen understanding of phenomena.

This week (3/23 and 3/25) will focus on preparing you to work with different communities on your research area.  On Tuesday, we will start in our Seminars — where we will catch up some with various assignments, hopefully talk about the learning foundation work you completed before spring break, and discuss how to do literature reviews.  Following this time, we will move to RINGS where we’ll be talking about how to prepare for community research.  By the end of this week, our hope is that you will be well on your way to starting to gather data and further explore your topics.

PLEASE NOTE: after the major snowfall we had, we readjusted the weekly schedule to reflect new due dates.  If you see any conflicting information about this (for example, an actual  assignment may still indicate original dates), always look at the weekly schedule where due dates will be indicated in red print.

Enjoy this beautiful weekend.  See you in 203.

Prof. Muir
